For an entry level camera, 12MP and 6X zoom can't be beat. Add the 3 inch LCD and you've got one great camera.Attribute to transfer easilly overlooked is the fact that this cam has 2 AA batteries and seems stingy with the use of energy, given the above characteristics. We had an older model that chewed through 4 AAs like candy.Great camera ... on the higher end of entry-level but worth the price..
